Default New new A 8

Yup it's official. Audi is taking back my Horizon Blue haunted dreckmobile. Obtained 7/31 4200 miles on the odo. Thats even with it in service for close to a month. Serial #1971.
To date: new tranny, battery, windshield. Never got the MMI or sunroof fixed. Lately the passenger side view mirror has been acting up too.
In its place, an Atlas Grey/ Sabre Serial # in the 9000's. Audi is paying/ providing for replacement of the V-i installation. Removing rear head rests and debadging the rear.
Over all the aggrevation was not worth it. I would rather be in the Blue baby, however Audi did come through in the end.

Default Good to hear that Audi's taking care of ya

The Atlas/Sabre is a great combo choice (although I'm a bit biased). When is this are you supposed to get the new A8? Was the Atlas in stock someplace? Of course you'll have to post new pics ;-)

I'm in Cleveland. Car is in Cincinatti. Getting flat bedded up here on Monday. Should be prepped and ready by Thurs/Fri. I'm in no rush at this time. Yes, it was in stock. Has convenience pkg; ventilated seats etc. Front/Rear parktronic. Phone.

A short wait, not the 3 months or so for those that ordered theirs. The options are close to what I have, I didn't get a phone and added the solar sunroof. Is the Atlas coming w/ 18's and all season tires?

Good news Blade. It is good to see Audi reacting the way they are. Its like putting a good dressing on an open wound! Atlas Gray? Seems to me that there is one running around Texas somewhere! LOL

Default Hey, Blade what was up with your passenger mirror?

Mine has been dropping (pointing down) without my 'permission' a few times and I've had to readjust and reenter into memory...same thing?

Mine was tilting down when I'd go into reverse as it should. After going forward it would rise but never to the pre reverse height totally. Same symptoms?
