Default Mine did the same thing after my fluid/filter change
If it sounds like gear whine, then the tranny is underfilled. I initially underfilled it, got the whirring on acceleration while the car was still not warmed up. Once the car warms up, it goes away. I took it back to the shop the next day and got another quart into it, whirring stopped. Go through the filling procedure from Audipages again and it will go away.

The thing you are describing, backdoc, is the auxilliary pollution air pump. It is extremely loud.

Can I fix it , clean it , or replace it? Or do i just live with it?

Default as far as I know, this is the normal noise it makes. annoying, isn't it 8p ..
it's only on for a few minutes in the extreme cold, tho.
