New recommendation for a A/s tire. Cooper Lifeliner touring SLE.
Ive only put about 4500 miles on them, but compared to other cheapy all seasoners these are the top in my book. Although I have no idea about tread life yet, but as for performance, very solid. Wet weather they handle what seems to me to be effortless control. Dry weather traction, I put them well above the Kuhmo ASX that I ran last year. Im waiting to see how they will handle in the snow. From what I can tell there has been no flat spots and they have stayed in balance through some brutal punishment. Fairly quite, smooth riding, fairly stiff sidewall but like I said above Ive only put about 4500 miles on them. So far, these are going to be the only A/S I am ever going to put on my car. Oh yeah, and they're only T rated.

Oh, BTW, shoulda listened to your PA turnpike advice....got a ticket around Bedford on Monday!
My Autobahn mentality days are over. Luckily, I was caravanning with "ubertek" of the S4 forum coming back from INDY, we both have Pearl and the cop was unsure of who he tagged. So he gave me a "riding in the passing lane" ticket , which is a slap on the hands 100 bucks. I was really happy to oblige, since I WAS doing like 85. He was a nice gentleman for a change.
