Default new W12?

I currently own the 2003 S8, which has been a phenominal car. I am thinking of trading it in for the new A8L W12. Does anyone have any experience with this model? I saw one on the street in Boston the other day it looks awesome. The other option is to hold out for the next S8, or even an RS6, but who knows how long that will take?

Default Sat in one and heard it start up. Very nice car but will be nose-heavy to drive.

Will drive like pretty much any other A8, just more thrust and standard features.

Next S8, according to mags here in UK, will be unveiled mid-2006.

Default Drove one at an Audi event last Fall.

Don't think it would be that great for the cut-and-thrust of serious city driving. LWB, very heavy, etc. Awesome cross country car, though. Would also be great chauffer-driven, especially as the one I test drove was a Euro version set up for that, with the desk, fax machine, and refrigerator.

I think holding out would be the ticket, unless you've just got money to burn and really tire quickly of what you're driving.

Default Perhaps 1-2 yrs later the W12 is a good deal (relatively speaking), ...

plus you'll have the option to compare it against the new, '06 S8 and make a better choice.

If you have money to burn, then trade up to the W12 today, and next year to the new S8 :-)
