Default The next S8 motor ?!

.
This is the official photo of the 500 hp 5L dry sump V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo. I believe I could live with a detuned 460 hp version in the next S8, ... and this motor is already in production :-)

maybe a stronger engine but the A8 will be heavier..
so I'm guessing the speed will be equel..
(I'm guessing 480 bhp)
or the enging that was in the pikes peak quattro
that would be sweet

Default For whatever reason, these aren't failing in the A8/S8.

.
Do you have a higher under hood temperature with the turbo motor?

Default Yeah there is...it's just real short. Looka the tensioner.

At least it only drives one thing rather than everything!

Default Wouldnt be called serpentine in this case

The name serpentine belt comes from the practice of running a long flat belt around multiple pulleys, sometimes driving items from both sides of the belt. If it is just running 1-2 items it is usually called an auxillary belt or it is named for what it drives, fan belt, alternator belt, etc.
