Noise from the trunk 97 A8 w/130k mi
When I am driving, I hear a garggling noise from inside the trunk makes me suspect fuel pump. Car drives fine. What would the noise be?

Whaaahhh!!! Funny! Actually it is my tickling elmo back there!!
Anyway, I don't see a symptom at all of fuel pump failure or nothing but that damn sound is bothering the heck out of me!!

Nothing if stationary idling / throttle?
That would make a search easier.
Maybe try - slowly - with the fuel cap off, see if that changes anything. Perhaps some vacuum issue, if not the fuel pump...?
