Hi all
I have been having an increasingly noisy belt on start up. I only have 66000Km's on the car but it is 12 years old. Is this indicitive of a belt that needs to be replaced or does an adjustment need to be made?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

When the transmission filter is clogged, it makes a nasty noise on start up for a few seconds which sounds like a belt slipping noise.

If the noise stops within a few seconds, it's the electric fan on the drivers side behind the radiator.

Either change the fluid per audipages.com instructions, or don't, either way, it's probably not going to go away. It's no big deal. Ignore it.
