Default Normal engine temps on a hot day?
I just flushed my coolant, and my guage is still a bit right of the half mark. This is esp the case when I am running the AC. I fear it could hit 3/4 or worse in a heat wave. Both fans are running btw

Pre facelift car: Usually the mechanical fan clutch is going bad with those symptoms

Default did you bleed the air?
there are 2 bleed nipples - rad and heater core...

Default Me thinks you may have some air trapped in the system.
Did you have these symptoms before the coolant flush?

She ran hot last summer and again now.. Flushed coolant, fans sound healthy, need to check other suggestions. Did my tstat at 65k, got 123k now.
