There were six of us anglers on the charter and sharing the one fish out was more than enough for all.

I have a soft spot for anything that swims that swims that fast and that far and lives that long (40+ years). Also, I'm working off the guilt of having hauled several hundred thousand pounds of king and red salmon out of Bristol Bay as a young man, and have agreed to be one of Poseidon's henchmen, even on car forums. I've looked a bunch of king salmon in the eye -- a fish that swims a full lap around the Pacific, over a period of years, and comes back to the exact stream it was born in to do its own spawning -- and I don't have a good feeling about our ending the tenure of anything as cool as that on Earth.
Also, what am I going to eat as an old man if there ain't no nice fish left? Tofu?! Naw, huh-uh. I wouldn't have any energy to climb up on my high horse.

I go fishing while on vacation down in Hilton Head SC. I usually catch and release some sand sharks, stingrays and go netting for shrimp. I would love to catch a fish of that size ( perhaps a more abundant species ).
