Off topic - tozoa8, do you know anything (or anyone else) about the transmission in the 100's ?
There's a '92 100 for sale around the corner for me for $300 in decent shape but it needs a transmission - only goes in reverse. Didn't they use GM 3 speeds on those ? I think that's what my 1990 200 had and the tranny went the same way. Wondering if I might be able to do a filter/fluid change and get it driveable. I already posted on the 100 board and noticed you have one too.

My wife has a 94' 100.
It has a 4 speed automatic non Quattro in it with 110K miles with NO problems at all. I bought it with 100K, never touched it. Fortunately I don't know anything about that tranny.

I have a 93 100 CS quattto wagon that has 170K miles on it. The tranny is bulletproof. My 2 kids have been beating the snot out of this car with no issues. I still have fun driving it in 3rd gear on a winding road.
