a well meaning neighbour switched polarity when jumping my car. The fuse for the ABS blew, replaced that, the radio fuse also went, but most worrying, Vagcom can't find any of the modules when it scans....
Are there any other fuses i should look at other than those in the passenger footwell ?
Does this meanthe ECM is fried ? what are the consequences of driving it ? and how many gutwrenching $$$ will it cost to replace the ECM
The wife has been driving the car on short runs and it goes, but is something unpleasant about to occur...
many thanks

This happened to me on my TT a few months ago, I disconnected the factory radio and the VAGCOM worked as it should after. I then reconnected the radio and now the VAGCOM works with the radio connected again. Make sure you have your radio code and try that, good luck!!!
