In North America, when customers buy a mid level or flagship high performance luxury car, it is either a coupe, sedan, convertible or nothing. Too few want a wagon. That is the main reason why the S6 was a bit of a sales disappointment in North America. Only available as a wagon-err-avant. Totally lame. The US recession also played a bit of a role in the S6 being a sales disappointment in North America. That is probably why the new S6 due out mid or late decade will be available as a sedan and not as an avant in North America. If there ends up being a two door bodystyle of all versions of the new A6 (including S6 and RS6), then all versions of the new A6 (again, including S6 and RS6) will be available in both coupe and convertible-err-cabriolet bodystyles.

And no, I am not a lawyer. I was just curious. If Lexus has quality problems, is is not going to have an affect on me whatsoever. I couldn't give less of a **** about it.
