can someone tell if item #25 in the oil cooler diagram...... is that a ONE piece Figure-Eight O-ring, or is it TWO separate o-rings??

i'm confused, because i thought all the o-rings were suppose to be the same size; because O-rings #22 and #24, that go onto the coolant pipe, are about half the size of item #25.

It' is one piece. The o-rings for the coolant pipe are definately much smaller.

the part# of this gasket kit is: 077-198-070; which is suppose to comprise of:

contains oil cooler gasket # N 905 428 01 aka #077-115-441 and two o-ring seals # 077 121 437

the kit came with the gasket and these 2 LARGE O-rings. i purchased it online.

is this the wrong gasket kit???



since the kit didn't include the coolant pipe, i went to the $tealer yesterday and bought the coolant pipe for $10 and the 2 O-rings that go to it, @ $8 EACH!!!!!!! what a rip-off... but that's what confused me, because i thought all the O-rings were suppose to be the same size.

also, is that pictured kit (077-198-405) for the 32v or 40v??? [not that i would know the difference]

i just call the dealer.. that figure-8 gasket/seal is $21 alone (part# 077-115-441)

plate are the ones that go on the coolant pipe.

40v pictured (don't know if that matters).... small o-ring was for the metal pipe if I recall.
