Oil Leak continued. I need diagnose doctors!!!!!

OK today I dropped the plastic cover again to try to figure out if the leak is from the oil cooler or somewhere else. I also removed the air filter housing to get a better view but nothing. It all looks clean around the engine. I just get a small drop form under oil cooler on the side of the filter. I also seem to get a thin film of fresh oil around the oil pan. The leak is about a drop or two per day. It all started a about a month after I switched to the high performance 0W-40 Lubro Molly oil. I always used Mobil 1 5W30 and the new oil is much thinner and clearer looking.

You gain horsepower, loose oil. I would never put 0w oil in my car but that just me.
I mostly drive in the city, so an extra 10 hp doesn't make big difference to me, but I don't want a leaking engine.

Looks like mine
Jack, didn't you end up solving your leaking problem by replacing the gasket that holds the front cover on the engine?
The one behind the lower toothed gear where the oil pump is?
I wonder if that's where the leak is coming from.

He switched to a heavier oil, from 5w-30 to 0w-40 ...
and more than likely, lost a bit of HP. It's the 2nd number, 30 or 40, that determines the viscosity at operating temperature.
The 0w-40 is only "thinner" when the motor is stone cold, but under these conditions, the 0w will more than likely provide better lubrication than the 5w. [Though there really probably isn't much difference between a 0w and a 5w in this respect.]
