I've searched high and low and have found zilch. Rotors available (345mmX 30mm)- OEM stock and Brembo solid. I've found NO rotors with slotting and plating. Same thing for front brake pads- the only ones I've found are OEM, TRW, and MAYBE EBC red/yellow. I've struck out finding Pagid, Akebenko (sp?), or any other upgrade pads at all for the Brembo calipers. Please share with me (and the rest of the new S8 owners) what you have found and how well it works.
TIA!
TIA!

Randy is running the uber-schweet Stoptechs. ECS offers stock sized slotted or drilled. Try http://www.RaceShopper.com for a wide assortment of pads. Akebono does not make pads in our front fitment. I alo spoke with the folks at http://www.brakeco.com/ when I was looking but decided to wear mine out completely before getting new hardware. Let me/us know what you find. Perhaps a GB with all the new //S8s on the forum.

Here's my <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/81590.phtml">10 Pad Comparison</a>, which seems to have had quite a few views in the three years since the originally write-up.
Try <a href="http://www.northstarmotorsports.com/">Northstar</a> for Pagid compounds, <a href="http://www.raceshopper.com/ferodo_compounds.shtml">Raceshopper</a> for Ferodo.

...them Ferodo DS2500s, after reading his review here previously. Can't wait!
Thanks for the empirical data Randy.
Rotors are sufficient for the task, unless you're tracking it. Since the good bleed and brake block, I've not at all been left wanting in the brake dept. certainly. DS2500s will just be icing on cake.

Since the cf of the DS2500 is quite a bit higher than an oem pad, you'll want to upgrade the rears to maintain brake bias. The ABS will prevent any safety issues from a front only upgrade, but you will notice the difference after you also upgrade the rears.
