Default if you were to try something like that I would likely go with this one.

Default LoL!!! Discussed several times on this board, don't waste your $$$.....

I really like the statement:
"DOES NOT RESTRICT YOUR INTAKE when not in operation (air-flow through 3.0" dia. is equal to a 3.1 inch diameter straight tube)"

WOW- these guys will be millionaires!! A 3" diam. device that has better airflow than a 3.1" diam. straight tube! They have discovered some new never-before discovered Physics! Why are they wasting their innovation on a $125 "supercharger"?

Search the A8 forum for electric supercharger....

Default 60 Amps of power required for 1 psi boost (maybe)......

better have a really good alternator and some large gage wire! The amount of electrical energy required to pressureize the large volume of air required by these engines is quite considerable. If these electric supercharges were productive and reliable, don't you think the automotive manufacturers would have picked up on it?

Default Re: ok so WTF is up with THIS!

This device is precision engineered to separate a fool from his money.

CFM tells the story and that is the story he ain't telling. You could blow up a ballon with your mouth and probably generate a few PSI, but what of the VOLUME of air you are pushing....very very very little. PSI is merely a measure of resistance in the system. Without a stated CFM in a known system a psi number is meaningless. PSI is more a measure of compressor efficiency. If Turbo 1 can flow 350 cfm at 10 psi and turbo 2 needs 15 psi to do it, that tells you something about how they behave...one will likely spool slower but produce more on top, two will likely rev quicker. Point is...psi is meaningless by itself. CFM at psi tells you something, and again, that story is not being told. Save your money.

There is but one electric supercharger that I am aware of that is provable and actually works. I don't have his direct site, but here is an article aoubt it:

Come on... Look at the torque loss. Gain HP, lose TQ, screw that.

Default This draws 700 amps for a 5 psi boost, ...

It shouldn't take very long at all to destroy your battery.

Default Just send me the $125, and do nothing.

At least that way, you won't lose engine output, due to the inlet obstruction that POS creates.
