There ya go. ECS has the F125 the cheapest. I did a write up step by step on how to change it...
....
I would first jack the car up, and clean out the connectors.
If you need ANY help with it, let me know. I did mine and know it like the back of my hand. I do believe my write up covers EVERYTHING

I've just read your message, and also just got fault code17090 P0706 do you think this is the same switch and if so do you know where it is and how I take it off?Any help would be appreciated

My fault codes 2002 s6 tipronic ?....... 2 faults -fault code 17090 it says transmission range sensor (f125) also says p0706-35--00 implausible signal
fault code 16987 internal control module p0603-35-00 non volatile memory error
Also under abs brakes: 1 fault code..... 01119 gear reduction signal 35-00 --
Anyone out there ever have these before? it is in bright prnsd and does not show tip 54321 but trans shifts in all modes even tip on the wheel
