For those of you who have chosen to use the OnStar phone as your primary in-car phone, I have a question:
If you are calling your voice mail, or any other number that requires additional numeric input after you dial the primary number, how the heck are you doing it? If there is no MMI integration and no physical keypad, I can't imagine how this could be accomplished...

I've been using the V60 though with no real problems, other than really wishing there was an integrated address book. The question you reference was one of my main hesitations with the OnStar situation.

Hi MB. I've been using the onstar phone (not the V60) a lot and I don't think there is a way to enter a number or other symbol such as # or *. If I have to do that I use my portable phone I keep on my belt.

Jeff, you can actually say 'pound' or 'star' and have those entered via voice commands (but only when dialing initial number)...give it a try.

That works for the V60 Chronic, but I'm talking about the built-in OnStar phone. I think you're toast if you want to use it as primary, not install a supplemental phone in your car, and then need to make a call that involves additional dialing beyond the connection number.
