Opinion sought - S6 or S8 ?
If money were no object, and you had to choose between the two, which would it be, and why ?
I currently have a '98 S8 here in the UK and am thinking about changing to a 2000 S6, but am not sure - need advice !!

No opinion on S6 from the U.S. crowd ...
The S6 has not been brought to North America yet. It is coming for 2002 as an Avant only, and most likely in Tiptronic form only.
Based on comments and reviews I've read, there is not much difference between the performance of the Tiptronic S6 and an A6 4.2 quattro. The S8, however, is significantly quicker and more agile than an A8 4.2 quattro. The S6 and S8 weigh about the same, so the S8 mighet even be a better performer with the extra 20 hp. I think it also looks a lot nicer.
