YGM! Anyone else know a good autobroker around Malvern?
I had a broker go to the Manheim Auction but he inexplicably failed to bid on the Pearl Gray '03 A8L with 22k miles that went for $39,100. He wanted $1,500 fee which is OK with me. Some of the brokers want $5,000 cash retainer. Not so sure I want to do that unless I can feel comfortable with them. Willing to GO to Manheim with a check and meet the Broker there if he can tell me a few days in advance what is being offered for sale - miles, colors, year, options...

I feel your pain....
My budget is $40K also; lost an 01 S8 Silver/ Black Alcantara w/ 40K miles and all options that went for $42K from a broker right here in Houston.
But I managed to get about 5 hours seat time in it before it sold! I had offered $39,900, but was turned down.
Also Advantage Audi in Houston had an 01 Black/Platinum Alcantara for $46K Certified, only 30K miles, but I think someone here in this forum may have bought it. Don't see it on the lot anymore...

Lots of A8's in Texas. You're in a good location. One will turn up with Your name on it!
Nice low miles one in Phoenix. Black on black. Want $49 but been there a while. Was used by a guy in their Porsche store afor about a year so probably well taken care of. Even sub $40k S8's on there!
These cars are actually a lot cheaper then they are around here! (now why doesn't that surprise me...) :-/

Damb car Sold already - just 1 day! I drove to Otto's BMW and there is a "Sold" on windshield. :-(
Ming '03 22k miles asking $44,995. Guess somebody needed to make quota for month-end. Man o Man - a BMW dealer no less!
