Parking Brake sticking
OK, this morning was another little A8 fun story-- I know the corrosion on myh rear calipers affected the parking brake. I had to push the lever on the pass caliper back to take up the slack on the cable. THE CABLE WAS LAYING ON THE DRIVESHAFT AND IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO WIND ITSELF AROUND IT!!!!
You cannot imagine the horific sound that could only be eliminated by pulling up on the had brake! All gone for now-- and never to return I hope! (I aon't gonna use that bugger until I get some serious lube on it!!!)
