It's pretty helpful, but not realy helpful.

Does it have good technical illustrations that show overall function?

It has the solenoid table, clutch logic, and all the interfaces between the ECU and TCU (and how each one fails), and tells you how hydraulically it works.....

But it doesn't have a troubleshooting guide and it doesn't tell you what the problem is when the tranny hunts!!!! ;-)

Overall, a great book to have, but it won't solve our problems.

I also have another book on the tranny, the rebuilding guide from ZF, huge, but it does not have a troubleshooting guide, just a step by step procedure on rebuilding the tranny.

I need a troubleshooting guide!
