I was fourth in my class (C which is a high level of mods) with a 55.8 seconds. Third was 55.4 seconds and first was 54.5 or so.

Fastest Audi time of the day was set by a S4 avant at 52.6 or so......

Fastest car of the day was this Camaro, it sounded like a stock car on a short track....a lot of traction! Did a 50.05 or so...

Default I had about 7 disqualifications out of 10,but set a pretty satisfaying time under 1:01.Half ...

...a second from 3rd place (5 participants in Class A).

Yeah, 7 out 10 DNF's (Did Not Finish)! Next time I will disregard the map (had a cone extra on it which messed me up twice) and will take somebody of the organization to lead me through the course the first time. I've learned a lot that day and had a lot of fun.

Default Neither of those

The area you see me turning in is at about the 1 O'clock position here:

And the person taking the picture was just outside the trackon the parallel berm at about 12 o'clock (the corner worker).

Default Re: PaulW Autocrossing

Hey Paul
I had posted my "Event" report before I ever saw this post---must have been the weekend for driving events.
The one I was in wasn't a timed event--and the "teachers' definitely emphasized that this WAS NOT a race !!!!
but, I have to tell you--when your out there--it kind of turns into one--maybe that's just my competitive instinct---but it made me go faster and bear down harder---keep focused--(chasing those Porsches in my "limo" S8)---Alot of A 4's and S4s--BMW M3's---and an incredible amount of very high dollar Porsches--plus some Ferrari-s---you name 'em---
Fun fun fun
