Default Pics Pics Pics! I saw the new A8 in the flesh!

Here are the pics I took at Neckarsulm where I got to see the new A8 in the flesh! (read the story in my 24 08 post)

For starters, here's a view of the Audi plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. You can see the ready made cars lined up for transportation.

Another illustration of how large the factory really is.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/new_a8-b.jpg">

So far I had not yet seen an A8 over there. I decided to take a look at the other side of the plant. Et voilą: my very first spy pic was born. Not a very fortunate one might I add. The sun and a large green curtain on a fence stood in the way. Lots of wood showing though.

I really love this one. It's a beautiful sideway pic emphasising the back doors and windows.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/new_a8-d.jpg">

The complete thing sideways. It looks good fellas! Lower and sportier to me.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/new_a8-e.jpg">

The black spot on the right is a bit of the fence standing in the way. Wonder where these babies are going to end up?

I'll post four more pics; somehow it doesn't seem to work when I try to put them inside this post.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/11994.phtml">Link to story</a></li></ul>

Looks awesome. Dunno about the read end though. I'll wait till the real-world view through my own eyes before judgement, as always (cars look better in the flesh than in the pics...always...unlike women).

Default The old and the new in one pic (+others)!

An attempt to take another inside shot. Fence and sun blocking the view. Rear seating.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/new_a8-g.jpg">

Another attempt. Lots of wood showing though behind the steering wheel.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/new_a8-h.jpg">

Still wrapped in factory tissue and with an open hood. Most of their hoods were opened, I wonder why.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/33383/newa8-i.jpg">

An exclusive! The old and the new in one pic. You decide ;-)

Default Those silvers really show the differences

I still admit, I love the styling over the old A8, but seeing that pic of the 2 side by side is a GREAT shot!!!! Never thought I'd admit that the old body style shows her age, but maybe it does a little (still a lot to be said about the classic good looks of it though) Seeing these is making me want to see the new A8 in the flesh even more

Looks great, but kind of big. Bet it won't drive as small as ours.

Default Upsetting

Never thought the new model looked as good as mine until now. I guess I'll have to start saving for the S version!
