Placed deposit on S8, need some numbers.
I have just placed my deposit on an S8 but have had a hard time finding any info on the car. My Audi dealer didn't even know the car was comming here. Short of watching "Ronin" I can't find any numbers for performance or price, or any articles on how the car drives. Any Help? Thanks.

That's the old S8.
The new one is:
- 360 hp
- 0-62 mph 6.5 sec (german spec.) tiptronic
- 0-60 mph 6.0 sec (US spec.) tiptronic
price ? .. well .. $ 75K is a guess but a good one from me.

No way there's being a S8L .. what a ridiculous thought for christ's sake .. geeee sorry ..
No, there won't be an S8L .. yuck, even writing that makes me sick ...
Suspension and brakes will be the same and there won't be a 6-speed. So far so right, but the tiptronic will get different gear ratios for the first and second gear .. maybe the third too, but I doubt it ... that's why the NA spec will be quicker on 0-60.

look in model guide...
i just came from looking at the specs for the s8...but they are the european specs...
i dont think the market will be large enough that Audi will want to alter from the Euro spec more then necessary.
