POL about shift points. What do you guys think.

Here's what I think...
1st to 2nd 30mph
2nd to 3rd 60mph
3rd to 4th 90mph
4th to 5th 120mph
I've driven w/ you, Tozo, and I know how you drive. These shift points are well below redline. The S8 shifts into 5th at 140mph when approaching redline and I don't ever feel any hunting or thumping during this type of acceleration.

I only wish I could get 20 mpg when driving like that. The computer shows 5 mpg,
but I think that's optimistic. I wish I had access to roads that would allow me to measure fuel consumption in the triple digits- it might not be too bad if you could sustain it for awhile...
