Are there maintenance/warranty benefits to leasing a CPO A8? I could purchase, but I have been told that there are more benefits to leasing.
Thanks

you pay alot of money on something that is depreciating, at a higher interest rate. You pay all the maint., at the end zippo.
CPO might pay for biggies, but the golden days of Audi warranties paying for everything including wear and tear items like brake rotors are gone.

They usually have very low residuals and high money factors which often give you a similar payment to a new one. I have seen a few that have been really good deals because the price of the car is very low in relation to the residual which is not a percentage, but a number for a given year and model. I once had a friend who leased a older SL600 for $425/mo because he was able to buy the car so cheap. This type of situation is rare though. As for warranty and maintenance, there is usually only a little free maintenance left (4/50) and the CPO warranty only gives you another 2 years or up to 100K miles of coverage. This warranty will only cover major components and will have a deductable of $50 I believe. If you want to lease, go new. The only other benefit to leasing is the tax writeoff if you are self employed or use the car for business. Hope this helps.
