Default Possible Torque converter lockup and hunting solution

I'm considering intercepting the TC lockup signal and replaceing the TC lockup solenoid with a spare solenoid external to the trans to trick the computer to thinking it's there. Then I could use a B&M TC controler (see link) and a relay restore the connection to the trans TC solenoid at 65 MPH. Does any know if this scheme would work? Does anyone know what wire controls the TC lockup?

I love the A8 but my TC lockups up way too early. It often lockups up in 3rd gear, lowering the RPM to 1100 while I'm going up hill. I contacted GIAC and they have no trans chip or plans for one.<ul><li><a href="http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?lang=-1&amp;catalogId=10002&amp;storeId=10001&amp;catego ryId=17673">http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?lang=-1&amp;catalogId=10002&amp;storeId=1

Default It locks up 2-3-4-5 gears if you go faster than 20MPH and the tranny temp is higher than 30C.

There is a switch on the TB to tell the TCU, that your foot is on the pedal.
