Hi Everyone,

I've been hanging out here for a few weeks watching the conversations and reading past posts in anticipation of taking the plunge into a D2 S8.

I've found this forum to be the most knowledgeable I've come across and wanted to reach out to you all for some educated feedback.

Target:

2003 S8
~130k on the clock
Full dealer maintenance history, which I have received and totaled in the attached pdf for review.

The car seems immaculate internally and externally. Full dealer maintenance history is obviously a bonus. You'll note that there is no real mention of engine or transmission work to be found.

I have been in touch with the seller for over two weeks now and he's been providing me with any information / pictures I have asked for.

Car is a substantial distance away from me and I don't have a ton of time to go out there and simultaneously conduct a PPI.

I have the suggested PPI targets from the Audipages article.

What am I missing?
-seems to be 10k behind on maintenance interval (130k due now)

What do I need to be thinking about?
-tranny issues? (can't seem to find a ton of that relevant to the 2003)

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I'm hoping to wrap this up, one way or the other, by Columbus Day weekend.
