Potential solution to the water in the ecu/tcu compartment..

I was thinking and i figured we could use silica gel packs in the ecu/tcu compartment to help keep our computers dry. Many of us in the past have heard stories of how the compartment will not keep the components dry and spent $1000 to fix them.
Here are some links.. i figure a 4 pack of bags in there will keep it dry enough..

where is that compartment located? In the Maseratis and Ferraris here at the dealership, they sit in a pocket right on the drivers floor under your feet, so during the winter, and when its raining, and you track **** in on your feet, it will eventually make its way down there. We actually had a new Quattroporte come in where a guy left his window down during a rain, and the car sisnt know what day it was, let alone operate properly. gotta love the italians
