Had the car for four years now and never had it changed. May have never been changed on my car.

But the q is do we need to chage it??
Any thoughts on where is it?

You would have to search on the A8 forum.....it was posted within the last six months.

It's somewhere in the resevoir, maybe right where you take a hose off, can't remember.

Don't think you'll need a new one, just clean the old one out.

Changing the power steering fluid is a good practice. I haven't done it, but it won't hurt!

The guy posted a procedure for it.

Not a bad idea, at least to clean it. What color is the fluid supposed to be?
