Default powerwashing underbody?..

I am thinking about going to a quarter wash place that has the power sprayers and washing the underside of my car and wheel wells etc w/ high pressure. Is there any damage short or long term that could be done, e.g. blasting away the anti corrosive on the underbody, etc?

Default I doubt the corner DIY power wash could damage the underbody.

So long as you restrict the powerful spraying to the undercariage and avoid the engine compartment electronics and use your better judgement, I see no problem.

The alternator sits kind of low too. Try not to spray that straight-on or you could damage it.

Default Some military bases have....

..tank wash basins - I'd suggest you drive through that to get your car sparkling clean.....

Default Be careful about flooding out electronic components

Other than that, I blast out the underside of my cars at the quarter wash after every winter season.

Conceivably, if you have had some underbody protectant applied you can shear it off with the sprayers at a quarter wash. But that is easy to fix by buying some protectant in a spray can.
