Aparently this part is nowhere to be found on the planet.
At this point I'm starting to get the itch to fire up the soldering iron and see if I can fix her up myself.

Re: Audi CPO car. Instrument cluster has the immobilizer in it, so car won't even start.
Been there. Mine was covered by Audi. It just died on me. The dealer told me that the parts and labor is approx. $1,500.

Yes, it is.
Well, I said so as well. Mine was out of warrantee and bitched about it to Audi Customer Relations and the dealer and Audi covered 75% of the cost and I only paid about $300.
