Default Price Check - Atlanta Help

All,

Thanks in advance again to everyone that has helped me over the years with advice/info. I just moved from Washington to Atlanta. Back in WA, an oil change on my 2002 S8 was around 70$...the price is more than double at Jim Ellis Audi in Atlanta. Also, Im about to hit 80k miles and they quoted me a ballpark number of $2400-2600 for the maintenance at that level. Are these numbers appropriate, or a tad high? Thanks for any advice!

--Chris

*UPDATE* Any members know of a good Atlanta area place to do maintenance? Any help would be lovely!

...a favored _INDY_!!!

That's crazytalk! There's a number of Atl. members here there everywhere that will hopefully steer you rightly.

Good luck.

FYI, A DYI oil change costs about 65-75$ depending on oil.

Default I have my 80k service this Friday, and I'm hoping they won't do the TB yet, I'm hoping for 90k.

I haven't gotten a quote, but I suspect it's going to be pricey.

Default Oooh, careful on that. The PO on my car had the belt snap at 89500.

Catastrophic engine failure ensued. It's not worth putting that off 'til the last minute!
