Re: Oooh, careful on that. The PO on my car had the belt snap at 89500.
IIRC, the TB on pre facelift A8s has to be done by 90K, but the manual for the '02 S8 says 105K. Hope this is the case, as I'm at 91K now...

You mean the tranny fluid? It's NOT lifetime fluid? But the dealer's said that it ... I'm confused. :-)
But seriously, not certain if the change in timing belt interval is a facelift thing (I made certain to get it done ahead of time on the previous '98). Can anyone confirm when the TB procedure has to be done for the five valve?
