We own this babied 2001 A8L with 79XXX miles on it. (We are the 2nd owners, 1st owner was a doctor in Ohio who had this car CPO'd and drove it till its CPO warr. ran out.) and touch wood have never had any problem with it, except our growing family cant fit in it anymore and are looking for a wagon / van. This drives excellent and has always been garaged. Options include the usual such as Xenons, navigation with 03 CDs, rear sun shades, all keys incl. valet key, radio code, integrated k40 radar detector, 35% legal lifetime warranty Llumar Platinum plus tint. This car comes with all records since day 1!! The car is Beige Exterior with Beige Interior and includes the Alacantra and Leather option, all 5 heated seats, all 4 motorized headrests. Everything in this car works as it should. The previous owner had the display LED crystals changed just before selling it so those are about 1.4 years new too.

Recent work done by an Audi Dealer includes new Audi OEM brakes, CV boot and shaft seal replacement, O2 sensors and catalytic converter replacement, 80K oil change. So really after having spent 2.5K in all the repairs and parts, we really saw no reason to sell it so soon but are now eager to get into a roomier vehicle. The KBB and edmunds TMV shows this to be private party valued at 14K and trade in at 12.5K without all the replaced parts and extras but are willing to hear a reasonable value from all you knowledgeable folks and any interest in the car. We are located in Asheville NC and this is my daily driver (10miles commute)

This car is ready to go for another 15K miles without requiring absolutely anything. At 95K miles though the TB/ WP service would be required or I can have it done for a discounted price of $1.5K at my regular dealer.
Any commments on the pricing level of this car? Is 15K a reasonable asking price or am I pricing it too low? I hope to list it on ebay soon.

in january, for 14500 from a dealer with 3K/3 mths warranty. I looked at several cars ranging from 13 (offered 12) and up to 17 for an 02 with 105K and no TB done. A good friend and customer of mine is selling his 01 S8 with 75K for 16500 in great condition. Depending on your need for quick turnover, I would suggest a firm 13,5 or 14, or wait it out at 15 - still a great price, but it might take a little longer. Alternative is having the TB done, then sell at 15.5 and highligting the tb job in the ad. JMHO...Good luck..
