Default I don't believe anyone here has experienced this problem.

Let the dealer check it out if it bugs you or wait for something more definitive to crop up.

Default Re: PRND432:part 2- My TWO CENTS!

After learning quite about these trnasmissions in the past three months here would be my 2 cents:
Two of the solenoids that could be wigging out are called the input and output transpeed sensors. Their function, as I understand it, is TCM + Engine RPM==> input RPM ==> Output RPM===>
Error code. There has been corrosion on some of the connections as well as poor grounding.

The location of these are near/on the valve body, inside the transmission pan. See diagram:
p. 34 Part Number 27.160. not sure of the other location.

If you take the valve body off you will then end up replacing the trans. fluid and gasket, while your this far might as well do the filter. What is your mileage? remeber to use only Audi recommended ATF.

My guess on price $400-500 for the above work. Good luck and keep us posted.<ul><li><a href="http://www.zf-group.com/pdf/5HP24A.pdf">http://www.zf-group.com/pdf/5HP24A.pdf</a</li></ul>
