Default The Audi Club Driving Schools ...

let you safely learn about the capabilities of these great handling cars, safely teach you new driving skills, while safely having tons of fun.

There is absolutely no pressure to go as fast as others who are more skilled and experienced. Since students are grouped into one of four groups depending on their experience, from first_time_ever_on_track to those with actual race experience, everyone in your group will be in the same boat. Competitive driving is very strongly discouraged (such behavior would get you kicked out), you drive with an instructor until you're both satisfied you can solo, and you're never ever expected to drive outside your comfort zone.

You need to give it a try some time.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiclubna.org/calendar/">Audi Club Event Calendar</a></li></ul>

Default stock A8 gets squirrelly around 120, anyway

if the pavement gets rough... Maybe an S8 would do better at those speeds, but an A8 is not a Coupe Quattro.

Default Re: Well, you are in the city, so 90km/h ( 55 mph )is enough.

point well taken. i feel a little claustrophobic or uneasy or whatever in tunnels anyway.

I am quite amazed at how nice the A8Q handles at very low normal city driving speed. I used to own an '88 Mercedes 420SEL which was quite a bear handling-wise (to me at least) except on the highway, where it came into its own very nicely.

I hope that happens Randy. I'll try to check their schedule for events in BC Canada.

Default your right its not a CQ..

but it is an A8 designed for highspeed cruising on the autobahn. there is no reason why i shouldnt be permitted to enjoy the same pleasures a euro gets just because i live in the USA.
