Hey guys

Im attempting my first mod on my A8 - THE QUADS

I was at my garage explaining to my mechanic what needs to be done.

I've listed out the following

1) 3 mufflers
2) X pipe to replace the H pipe
3) chrome tips

although we ran into some problems

1) the battery box gets in the way of the second muffler (does it need to be moved or placed below it)

2) question to PaulW - What was the muffler brand that was used for the mod? Anything special or selected according to the size?

3) What diameter pipe should be used?

Both Swen and Chucklane seem to have installed the 2nd muffler without lowering it. There's more pics in <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/56520.phtml">Swen's</a> and <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/38681.phtml">Chucklane's</a> install posts.

Mine is in the trunk.....but I don't have an exhaust on the right side of the car.....but I have never heard of having to move the battery over.

No need to move the battery but it is important to get the correct size muffler, if it is too big it will hang down too far, then it can be seen.
