Has anybody figured out if we can use the Vag-Com to adjust speedometer calibration if the final drive ratio is changed? I don't want to have to change the sending unit.
Essentially, my next step is to use shorter tires to increase my "effective torque multiplication" and make up the some of the difference between the A8 final drive ratio (~2.73 - 2.91) and the S8 (~3.73).
I can't make up all the difference, not possible, I would need to go from a 26" tall tire to a 20" tall tire to do that. However, I might be able to get to an effective final drive ratio of ~3.10.
