I did stay in an average of upwards 90+ all through Ontario a few years ago.
Once saving grace though, Canadiens understand that the left lane is not to hang out in. A left turn signal and a quick flash of the lights well in advance and the lane is free. Canada really is a slice of Europe!

On the back straight at Pocono Raceway. Someone here said limiter cutsoff at 130 or 135, but above is what speedo indicated when I was there on a trackday back in 2004.

...the //S8s were governed? Apparently @ north of 145 heh heh. Last time was chasing down my buddy in his chipped GT2 - I saw 145+, he saw 175+. Wasn't as pathetic a whooping as I expected tho.
Car reaaaaaally comes alive > 120, right in da sweet spot of der powerband. Soooo easy to gobble up miiiiiiiles of pavement in that "range". Car beckons for more.
I had some toolbox in an E46 ///M3 trying to ream up my tail pipe last month. I couldn't shake him - but - he was very obviously struggling to keep up and making some severely stoooooopid manuevers in doing such. I bail soon as I see that crap.
And yes I'm an idiot - tell me something I don't know. Sucks when the one thing yer good at happens to be slightly "frowned upon". I live in the booooooonies though, 3-4-5 lane wide open roads around here - BIG DIFFERENCE.

but still unlikely ;-) Almost everyone who owns a sweet '8 like yours appreciates (and sometimes utilzes) the performance inherent in the car. BTW, why Banal? Seems oxymoronic for an '8 owner (or is that the point)?
