Default Questions for Jason S8 ...

Jason,

1. Regarding your November post, did you get your S8 onto the track at the Bedford Autodrome? What was your opinion/reaction?

2. I assume your S8 is right-hand drive. Is your passenger side mirror convex? I have a large blind spot in my driver's side mirror, and I was wondering if I could use the right-hand driver mirror in it's place.

Randy, I checked my mirrors - both sides appear to be pretty flat - passenger side perhaps has a very slight curve (but could be an optical illusion!). I Don't think they'll help in improving your 'blind spot' problems.

Regarding the track day - bad weather forced me to cancel (I wanted dry, non-icy conditions), but I'm planning to go sometime soon (probably within a month or so). Will post my impressions on this forum (with pics).

Randy

The 'blind spot' mirror is fitted to the right hand side of all UK cars. I'm sure this would fit your LHD car, as a lot of US TT owners do with UK spec right hand TT mirrors.

Speak to Martyn Franklin at www.partsdepartment.co.uk, he supplied a lot of the UK spec TT mirrors to the US.
