Default Agree, two forums ...

It's not a problem now, but long term, searches will be much more productive with two forums.

Also, I think the users will gradually drift into two camps. Once the warranty is up on all the D2's, these guys will be much more likely to modify their A8's or just do their own work. D3 owners will always have more issues with new car features. There will be overlap, but I don't have a problem browsing two forums either. Shucks, I've never owned an A6, but I've got quite a few of my posts there listed in Stoney's Links for A6 Owners.

Default We can also learn from the 100LS or Ro80 forums, so let's combine them all!

If forced exposure to discussions about models you don't care about is good, let's just replace all these forums with one big Audi forum. Mmm, inboard brakes.

Seriously, a single D2/D3 forum wastes much more time of those uninterested in another model than it takes for those who like both to click both links. Please don't vote to impose the broadness of your tastes on the rest of us, in a way that makes scanning and searching less productive.

I suspect that's because you know more about brakes than just about anyone on A6.

Default I have become "attached" to my A8 Audi brothers..

regardless of what year their car is. I am not necessarily looking only for D3 posts and at least for me it just wouldnt be the same. A brotherhood is not categorized by age but by interest. I may be getting carried away(watch it Paldi!)with the "brotherhood talk" but I think that you get my message. Ill live with it either way but "this is good"!
