raw gas smell, need help.

This morning I started getting gas smell while driving, got worse if I opened the sunroof. On the way home it is progressively getting worse. Almost makes you sick. It was about 80 degrees today. Checked int he trunk and not smell opened the hood and no smell. where should I look first. I need to get this fixed before grattan.

HVAC intake is there.

I also pulled the cover in the trunk and there was a faint smell of gas around the cover. It was pretty lose on there so I pulled it off and the odor was stronger but not bad. It was bone dry in there no sign of gas any or other liquid in there so I put it back on and made sure it was tightened alot. Let me know what you think.
