Re-Dying Leather, I can do it, but how about the Alcantara?
I've done a lot of searching the internet, and it sounds like it will be no problem to re dye the seats to Ecru.
The other thing I learned is that when your leather "cracks" like where you get in and out of the car....it's not cracked, it's just the dye has worn off and you're seeing the true leather color below. Just strip, re dye, and it should take care of it! There was a guy on audizine that did his Ecru seats that came out perfect, but the post is lost.
Anyways.....how about the suede Alcantara insert? It's light grey right now....probably wouldn't look bad in grey with the seat being Ecru, but do you think you can re dye it?
BTW, I sat in them again.....OMG are they awesome! And the rears don't have the stupid electric motors for the headrests, they are manually moved up and down....why couldn't Audi do that for all of them?

"And the rears don't have the stupid electric motors".... Because they needed to fill another.....
switch location in the dash? Both of my rear headrests still work, but they always stay down so it doesn't matter. I agree that manually adjustable rear headrests are more than adequate.

remember, paul, that there are people in this forum who've complained ...
about the lack of rain-sensing wipers and auto-closing trunk lids .. do you REALLY expect people to have to raise and lower their headrests by HAND?
