rear hose solution?

if I was to replace the rear engine breather hoses with 19mm oil hose rated to 150deg C. and use internal plastic irrigation elbows to form the right angles needed do you forsee any problems.
[Note that the existing hoses are probably 18mm but there are flared nipples on the flanges]
I would value any input re: this cost and time saving measure[as the genuine hoses have to come ex Singapore to New Zealand]

Why not use brass or stainless barbed elbows. Do it once and be done with it.
Check the url and do a search for hose fittings.
