Hey all, a question about tinting the rear window. I just got a 45% tint put on my car (a green '98 A8Q) here in Maryland. Looked gorgeous when I picked up the car and drove home.

When I went out a few hours later, saw a nice 6-inch crack winding its way from the top right of the rear window. I know it wasn't there before I arrived.

I seem to recall some posts re: this issue in the past, but can't find them. Does anyone recall offhand how that turned out and, I guess most important, anyone have an idea how much it cost to get the rear replaced?

Crack has now turned and grown. Wanted to check around once again to see if anyone here has ever found their glass to be broken or cracked after a tint install; I'm basically trying to figure out if this is normal with Audis, as this is my first Audi and I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

I am fairly certain that I've seen a post on this here. I hate to ask again, but I have been searching for it all day but cannot find anything.
