Default reasonable 18inch tires

so i just fixed the vibration problem i was having and now was informed i need new tires. Had pilot sports on there and cant afford a new set @ 300 a tire. What do you guys reccomend on cheaper side? i found some sets on tire rack for around 140 a tire... Pirelli P6000, Dunlop SP Sport Maxx, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1, General Exclaim UHP anyone have expierance with these tires or have a recommendation?

thanks!

Default I am stocking up on summer Potenzas

350 new, I just get them as takeoffs with zero miles from G35 owners who upgrade right when they take new car delivery. And I get them for uber cheap- RE050 max performance

Avon Techs are cheap too, new, maybe junky tho if you want S8 fun.

Generals were on my S8 when I picked it up in Dallas. I've put about 3k miles on the car since and have no complaints. They seem to stick well and aren't excessively noisy. However, I have not tracked the car or driven it in inclement weather (only moderate rain) so I can't speak to those aspects as yet.

Default Poor experience with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1

Changed to Nokian WR's for a vast improvement. Not cheap, though.

Oddly, I've had very good luck with Dunlop tires in the past, on other cars:

Dunlop SP Sport A2 on a 1985 Mercedes 300D
Dunlop M2 Winter on a 1995 Taurus SHO

Default Re: What was causing the vibration?

the vibration was all because of a worn out tie rod end. drove the car a bit and it seems fine, but im riding on 3 old tires and a spare cause i got a flat so i wont be putting the car thorough its paces until i get a new set of tires for the car..and im seriously confused as to what tires to get.
