recaro sport seats upgrade for the A8?
Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the regular seats in the A8s (mine is a 97) to a recaro sport seats found in the S8s.
will the seats just go in perfectly?
what about all the connections,switches, and the side airbags, seat heating options, and etc?
Can those of you with recaro sport seats in your S8 please post some pictures of the swtiches on the side of the seats!!!
I might be able to get these seats from a person I know, but wanna make sure if these will fit without any problems.

There is absolutely no reason why that shouldn't work. The A8 Sport had the Recaro seats, I seriously doubt they changed anything else to make them fit and work. But you probably should try to get seats from a car of the same model year, you never know.

one more question!!!
Does your recaro seats come with side airbags. The seats that I am planning to get do not come with airbag I think, but my stock ones do. Is that gonna cause any problem? I don't really care about the side airbgas as long as the steering wheel airbag works. do you think changing the seat with non-airbag seats will cause the driver and passenger airbags to become disabled or will they still work fine?

No side airbags? Sure?
My car has side airbags both front and rear, all sports seats I have seen has that.
Look for the small "airbag" label on the outer side of the seat back, you can clearly see it in the upper right corner of the picture I posted.

the seats I want to get had airbgas in them, but
since the car was in an accident, they removed the airbgas. the seats are from a 2000 A8. is it possible to remove the side airbags from the seats? if they removed it, then is it possible if I remove the airbags from my seats and retrofit it in the new ones.
