I'm interested in removing my front license plate. I haven't been able to find a bumper cover to replace the stock piece. Any suggestions?

Back on topic, could you post a photo of the front of your car? My 01 S8 came without a front license bracket.

We went through this when we bought our car. My wife mentioned to the salesman that we didn't want the front plate and he walked to the back of the car, opened the trunk and on top of the spare was a bubble wrapped plastic bumper piece. It seemed like it shipped with the car, you might check back there to see if you have one.

Bugs took the left at "Albukwerky". No tellin' what he's in!

There's that big ugly rectangular block that holds the plate. I also looked in the trunk and didn't find it.

I tend to go to the dealer last as my expectations are always low and they probably don't have the best prices.

I found my plate cover on ebay for $25, and I've seen several others as well, but none in silver.

I guess I got lucky to have the "European" plate filler/look. I've got exactly the same vehicle, and I have to say I prefer the none US look. I suppose I'd feel differently if I'd been pulled over for the lack of a front plate, but in two years I've managed to avoid that.
